Comparison of the development of the Czech and Polish ballet scene in the years 1945 - 1970

This dissertation delves into the fascinating world of ballet, one of the most expressive and fantastic artistic disciplines. Its primary focus is to analyse and compare the development of the Czech and Polish ballet scene between 1945 and 1970 in order to shed light on certain key phases and issues, such as the emancipation and recognition of ballet as a specific artistic discipline. The dissertation also focuses on the career paths of ballet dancers, examining the advantages and disadvantages associated with this career, including financial reward. The structure of the thesis is divided into seven key chapters (source evaluation, methodological section, five thematic chapters), supplemented by an introduction, conclusion, lists and appendices. The first chapter focuses on significant changes in the interwar period, which are considered essential for understanding the development of the post-war ballet scene in Czechoslovakia and Poland. The chapter also focuses on the personalities whose legacy influenced subsequent generations of ballet artists. A separate chapter is devoted to dance education at three levels, exploring the causes and consequences of differences with potential implications for future developments. Dance school Brno

The theme of The Bachelor's thesis is a design of the dance school in Brno-Zabrdovice area. The project focuses on a contrstruction of a buildingless gap on the crossing of the Milady Horakove and Prikop streets. The goal is to cover up two large areas of adjacent buildings with a new building. The object is divided into two parts. The first one has a better access for the public. Inside there is a large dance hall that can be rented for various events, music school for adults and a cafe with a terrace on the third floor. The second part is a major eight-story building, which includes dance halls of various sizes, locker rooms with their own sanitation facilities and spaces designed either for rent or as the offices of teachers of the dance school. The upper floors are reserved for students‘ accommodation. Each accommodation unit includes a bedroom, a small kitchen, a dressing room and sanitary facilities. The roomes are suited for one or two students. The entire underground floor is used to park cars and store bicycles. There are also technical rooms and a Boiler Room. For the convenience of residents, the building wis designed as a pass-through. There is a small park with leveling staircases located at the back yard. During the summer season, the lawn can be used as a recreation place for students or residents of the city. The entire structure is designed in accordance with the requirements for Immobile use of structures. The multifunctionality of the new building ideally complements the existing educational facilities of the city, such as kindergartens, high schools, grammar schools and universities.
Project - Organization of Dance Marathon

This bachelor thesis deals with organization of dance marathon. In a theoretical part some terms are characterized, such as a manager, project management and sport marketing. The readers are also given information about dance features and characteristics. I used the survey and SWOT analysis to analyze the present state. Furthermore I deal with preparation and organization of dance marathon including the proposals for its innovation.

The main objective of this thesis is the description and complex evaluation of the functioning of the Cultural House Rubin in Brno Žabovřesky in the context of the neighborhood and the city, and create a strategy for its further development. Thesis deals with marketing of culture and describes the functioning of the House of Culture, its program and service offerings, visitors and defines its position within the city. It also contains characteristics of major competitors in the cultural context and sets hypotheses for the practical examination.Research part consists of quantitative research - in the form of a survey among the target audience. The conclusion contains a summary of findings from the theoretical part and practical research and their incorporation into the overall marketing strategy of Community Centre Rubín in Brno.
Theory Actions in X Chapters/Actions Theory in X Acts : Talk and Twerk

The result of the project is a short video documentation of reciprocal lesson given by the twerking instructress and the teacher of the rhetoric. We can easily observe how the smart nonverbal choreography of speech is joining the erotically explicit dance. Women bodies are shot by camera during the training. They exercise proper breathing techniques first, then nonverbal expression and finally they try to articulate diverse notions on twerking. After the rhetoric lesson is given, they change the positions of teacher and the person being taught. It's time to learn how to twerk. In the final sequence we can see both women performing short twerk choreography on hip-hop music track made originally for the project.
Information System for Dance Club

The subject matter of this work is requirements specification, analysis, concept and implementation of dance club information system. This system has to enable the keeper of the club to correctly organize dance courses and other related actions. It is equipped with editorial system for user-friendly modification of the web presentation. System is platform independent and technologies used are as follows - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Apache.
Emo Weather

The artwork was created by linking two thematic areas, mental health and atmospheric phenomena aka weather. I am examining forms of alienation and emotional numbness, which I follow by thematizing the isolation of people from the external environment and manifestations of local weather. I touch upon the topics of current weather representations, such as meteorological satellite images, and last but not least, I contemplate the fact of climate crisis. The work takes the form of a 100-minute long video, a set of 21 paintings by aniline colors on paper, sound track played in a loop and additional literature, texts and sketches available for public.
Business Plan – Establishment of a Dance Club

The goal of my bachelor’s thesis is to build a business plan for the establishment of a dance school in Jihlava. The thesis consists of three parts. The theoretical part is dedicated to definitions of basic terminology related with a business plan. In the analytical part, I analyzed the current market situation, and the practical part includes the specific business plan.

The Bachelor´s thesis is based on the project, that was made on the 6th semester of Bachelor´s degree. The theme of assignment is new building of dancing school, which is located on plot in area Brno-Zabrdovice. It is a gap site on the corner of streets Milady Horakove a nd Prikop. The building is a four-floor building contain one basement floor. In this basemend floor is a parking lot for personal and visitors and a extensively technical facilities. Ground floor contains representative spaces of dancing school with a conference room and sanitary facilities. Also there is a cafe with facilities, foyer, multifunkcional hall and part with a dressing rooms for performers. On the first floor there is a dancing classes, learning classes, cabinets for teachers and sanitary facilities. Second floor is basicly same, but above multifunkcional hall is terrace. Form of designed object reacts to place, where it is situated. It is a simple rectangular mass creating a missing stable corner of mentioned streets. On the object is designed a lamela facade, which allows variable shading each parts and premises of building from rush and noises of street Milady Horakove. Dancing school is a appropriate solution of building, because there is a couple educational institution close by like kindergartens, elementary and high schools, grammar school and college.
